Dr. Wisam Muhsen is a Consultant Neonatologist with extensive experience in caring for premature and critically ill newborns. He completed his subspecialty training in neonatal medicine in the United Kingdom, gaining his Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in 2016, and has since worked as a consultant in several leading tertiary and academic neonatal units across the UK.
He was awarded a Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH) in 2010 and was subsequently elected as a Fellow of the College (FRCPCH) in 2019. Dr. Muhsen holds a master’s degree in Neonatology from the University of Southampton and a PhD in neonatal haemodynamics, focusing on the use of echocardiography to predict bronchopulmonary dysplasia, a chronic lung condition affecting premature babies.
Alongside his clinical work, Dr. Muhsen has published widely in peer-reviewed journals, serves as a reviewer for international scientific journals, and has longstanding experience in teaching, research and mentoring. He is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to newborns and their families.
